Bowood Park Golf Club - The par 72 course runs to 6,692 yards for the men, 5,700 for the ladies and is set up in a way which should maximise enjoyment for all standards of golfer - you shouldn't have to spend your holiday looking for lost balls! The well-drained greens, built to USGA standards, means the course rarely closes in inclement weather, and in winter tees and greens are in full use - no temporaries
Trethorne Golf Club - The course has benefited from a significant level of investment during the past five years, including tee refurbishment, drainage of the green surrounds, bunker redevelopment, golf course amenities including bins and ball washers, and new Toro greenkeeping equipment. The 18 holes are set in a spectacular parkland setting with far reaching views of the rolling Cornish countryside and distant views of rural Cornwall. The golf course has been extended in length over the past few years, and now measures a challenging 6375 yards off the championship tees.
St Kew Golf Club - Open all year round the outward nine has four par fours in its 2,213 yards and three of the par threes stretch 191,200,and 216 yards. The inward nine off different tees boast six par fours and three par threes no shorter than 138 yards. The 64 par course is "protected" by water, 22 bunkers and trees- but no hills.
The Point at Polzeath - The course is a real challenge for golfers of all standards and plays just short of 6300 yards off the back tees. As a result of the investment, the greens are now considered to be among the best in the county and the presentation of the course is hard to fault. Most holes have seen significant changes with improvement to fairway definition, bunkers, tees and greens. You can keep track of our progress by looking at our Green keepers blog in the News section.
